There’s something special about campfires. They get us… fresh air, heat… they are challenging, they have cool colors… you can cook s’mores, hot dogs, popcorn, foil wrapped camp meals (meat n potatoes!)… a fire is an instant gathering place, conversation spot, a thinking place… charcoal sticks to your fingers and the smoke scent clings to your clothes.
