I try my best to keep tabs of everything going on in my 4 kids classes. I read the emails the teachers send, I ask the kids questions, I write things down on my old school wall calendar. But I miss things.
This week I didnt know my daughter had pajama day. Maybe someone told me. Maybe I skimmed an email and missed the info. Maybe I didnt read the email yet. Honestly I’m not sure if I knew. It’s month number 7 into the school year. I honestly missed this one… teachers in flannel pants usually gives it away.
My daughter was okay with it. I had an appointment so I didnt have time to go grab her pajamas from home. Another parent did…. that tugged at my heart strings.
I couldn’t bring her pajamas any earlier than the pick up time so I decided I’d pick her up early at 11:30 (she usually stays until 1:00). We went to Panera Bread and had a nice lunch together.
Then we went for a bike ride (I walked/jogged to keep up).
She remembered the exercise stations. So we did those too.
It was a lovely time with Miss Olivia. <3
The trail we went on is called the Windsor River Trail in Windsor, CT. It is a 1 mile loop by the Farmington River.
