When Michelle Cunningham makes a recommendation, you better believe it’s going to be absolutely awesome! She suggested we try a tour with a really awesome tourguide she knew, Lourd, and travel by motorized skooters thru the streets of Naples. We’d see multi-million dollar summer homes, super-sized yachts, fancy 5th Ave shopping area, a beachside sunset, and tidbits of fun facts about the area. The tour was absolutely fun and beautiful!

We started by arriving early to grab an oceanside beverage at Tin City. We walked over to meet Lourd at his shop. The bikes were lined up and ready to go. We hopped on for a 5-minute lesson on how to start/stop and a short test drive. We passed and were ready to go! First stop: a super-yacht named Julie M!

We meandered thru the sidewalks and streets of Naples. He pointed out fun real estate info – most places were summer homes used maybe 2 months a year and priced in the multi-million dollar price range. Wow! Are they hiring!?

The timing of the tour was absolutely perfect. We started the tour about 50 minutes before sunset – and arrived at the beach just in time to watch the sun go down for 10-15 minutes. I’ve seen a gazillion sunsets, and this view probably ranks as the best I’ve ever seen.
